I’m Gregory Marks, a writer and researcher living in Victoria, Australia. I completed my PhD in English at La Trobe University in 2020, with a thesis on Thomas Pynchon and the Posthuman Gothic.
I write on literary and critical theory, aesthetics, and ecology, with a broad interest in the literary representation of historical and natural time. You can find my published works here. I also keep a research blog, where I share my conference papers, talks, and other writings, which can be found here.
I’m currently working on projects related to Walter Benjamin’s philosophies of nature and history and the formal problems of Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit.
